What is the Little Fish Films competition?

The Little Fish Film competition is an activity linked to the World Fisheries Congress 2020 (WFC2020) which will be held in Adelaide, in September 2021 (date and venue to be confirmed).

The competition is open to school students from any country, aged 9 to 13 years old, guided by their teachers. By harnessing participants’ competitive spirit, and creative energy, the competition connects and educates participants and audiences around the theme of the congress ‘Sharing our oceans and rivers – a vision for the world’s fisheries’.

It provides primary and secondary school students with the opportunity to make a 120-second short film or animation, and win fantastic prizes in the process.

Australia’s Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) is coordinating the competition.
